I know we’re into early January now and the sales have been on a while but I wanted to share with you some great finds I’ve spotted on my travels around the sales. Who doesn’t love a bargain, particularly in the gloomiest month of the year. Many of us will have resolutions or want to move away from reckless spending, but these items are fun, cheap and useful.
As ever with these ‘finds’ posts – there’s no real connection between these items other than they are all brilliant.
Of course these things are all in the sale, so stock is likely to be limited.
First up is this chic dining set from M&S – its simple, clean design will fit in with most schemes and is timeless.
It’s a lovely chunky set and feels nice and weighty. It has those nice deep cereal bowls that you can also use for pasta and you won’t lose anything over the side.
And at over 50% off, you can’t go far wrong on the price now it’s down to £29!

Next on the Anthropologie website is this great bathroom set down from £50 to £21.95. If you have brass, gold or copper fittings in your bathroom this is a real winner. Or even if you don’t, it’s still a winner, lovely simple shapes and at such a discount, you can’t really go too far wrong!

These lovely storage bucket planters from Nordic House are particularly pretty and for £45 for the set of 3 are a good price in the sale. They could be used for plants, herbs, the kid’s lego, kindling for the fire, or by the door for wet brollies or for the dog’s toys. Lots of uses. What would you use them for?

A great bargain from John Lewis next, which is a brilliant hashtag lamp down to £10.50, great for the avid tweeter or instagrammer in your life. Ok it’s not exactly useful but it does give out light and therefore that’s my excuse for including it this round up!

Last but not least this week, this brilliant little hammered tray table from Not on the High Street. They only have the gold left, but with the black legs it would fit into most schemes. It would look great as a side table, or by the side of the bed for something a little different, and it’s 40% off, and now under £50, so a lovely bargain to boot.
