My blog is coming up to it’s one year anniversary (I think the kids might call that a blogiversary!) and it’s been an interesting and challenging year, with learning how to blog, how to write, what works and what doesn’t. I’m still learning and there’s lots of work to be done. Particularly, it has to be said, in the photography department!
My goal last year when my blog was launched was to win a prestigious Amara Interiors Blog Award. That’s no mean feat, it’s a competitive set of very beautiful blogs nominated by readers and peers.
A couple of weeks ago I received an email to tell me I’d been nominated for Best Newcomer and I was absolutely thrilled. I’m a small blog with a niche market (the disability side) and I never thought I’d even get a nomination. I’m alongside some stiff competition but I’m excited to even get this far!
Voting opens in August and I’d love your support to vote for me to get to the shortlist stage. I’ll send out the link when it’s available.
Also in line with my one year anniversary I’ll be running a giveaway on Instagram and I’ll send out a note with those details too closer to the time in August, but I hope you’ll be able to play along there too.
