Exciting News – Nominated for Domino Magazine Blog Awards!

Last month I sadly didn’t make it to the finals of the Amara Interiors Blog Awards and I have to confess I was a little disappointed – I truly appreciated everyone’s votes and I know so many people shared it on their social media time and time again but sadly I didn’t get enough votes to get through. It’s very tricky when you’re a small blog (as the newcomers are) and you need lots of votes to get through!

However after my disappointment at not joining the Amara IBA party this week, today I can announce some exciting news – I’ve made it to the Semi-Final stage of the Inaugural Domino Magazine Design Blog Awards!  To get to the semi final you need to get nominated (so thank you to whoever did that for me!) and then the Domino Magazine Editors reviewed all the nominations and chose their top ones to go to the next stage.  And I was in that bunch!

This is a nice way of doing it because I know that my blog has been looked at based on content and merit.  But now I need votes!  There are five blogs in the Best Newcomer Category and I’d looooove to win!

Domino Magazine is a prestigious Interiors Magazine (predominantly in the USA) and I’m one of the few international blogs to be nominated so to have got this far is simply amazing.
