If you’re an interiors buff like me you’re no doubt already a fan of The Great Indoors Podcast – the top UK Interiors Podcast presented by Interiors Expert and TV Designer Sophie Robinson, and the UK’s number 1 Interiors Blogger and Writer, Kate Watson-Smyth. Kate and Sophie have presented the podcast for a couple of years now and it’s a funny, helpful, interesting podcast with a different theme every week.
This week, it’s ACCESSIBLE LIVING and it’s so great to hear Accessible, Inclusive, Adapted design being discussed on a mainstream interiors podcast with expert Interior Designer Gordon Whistance who works on the BBC’s DIY SOS (if you’re as old as me you might remember him from Changing Rooms – there’s a 90’s throwback for you!).
I also get a little mention on the Podcast along with Jo from WheelieLiving and I’m so thrilled and proud to have received a mention, it shows we are getting the word out about accessible home design.
The show notes are here – with some beautiful accessible home photos – Sophie’s show notes are here and Kate’s notes are here. One of the stand out photos for me on Sophie’s page is this kitchen diner. With lift through to the next floor. WOW!

Here’s a link to the show itself – and why not subscribe and listen to the back catalogue of shows – you won’t regret it!
