My Top Tips for buying a Storage Bed

My Top Tips for buying a Storage Bed

The space under the bed is usually one of the least utilised spaces in our home and yet it's a large opportunity for storage that we don't often think about.  I'm on the look out for a new storage bed in my spare room and so I wanted to share some ideas... If you're a [...]

How I restored a vintage side table

How I restored a vintage side table

With the living room makeover finally in full force I was looking for a side table to go down the side of the sofa on Mr Wheel Chic Home's side.  There's not a lot of room there and so a narrow table with somewhere to store the laptop and magazines was something I started hunting [...]

Clever Storage Furniture Ideas

Happy Weekend!  January weekends are perfect opportunities to have a sorting out fest when the weather is bad and minds turn to a fresh start for the new year.  Once the tree is down and before the January blues kick in, it's a great time to look at what you have and to declutter. Most [...]

We spend a lot of time sitting on this deck, it gets a little more shade compared to the larger deck and it’s so much easier for @mrwobblelegs to reach. Sitting in the full glare of the sun doesn’t work for his MS legs, so we sit here by the shade of the house most often. I am looking to get a pergola on the main decking area but that’s for another day! Guess it’s time to prepare the mess of the garden for some summertime weather 😊
Oh hello! It’s been a while since I posted on the grid. A general level of Meh is the reason why 🤣.
The kitchen doesn’t look this tidy at the moment. We’ve had no water the past 24hrs and patchy service the last few days. Bloody @officialsewateruk - zero updates, no bottled water to be had, all the ones being given out by the water company were snapped up and all the shops are empty. We will be highlighting @mrwobblelegs disability to have him listed as a priority individual should something like this happen again.
The thing with having a wheelchair in the house that I still struggle with is the big expanses of space, like here - in an ideal world I’d have a lovely chunky rug on the floor with a coffee table or foot stool. But it’s not possible, @mrwobblelegs needs to get to that seat by the window and transfer from the chair to the sofa with nothing else in the way.
Over on my sister account @inclusivechic we are looking for your accessible, #inclusivechic WFH ideas.
Hello 2022! I thought I would show my face here for once!
